Tony Mandile, owner of Anatomy FX LLC, is an accomplished special makeup effects artist and prop fabricator with a career spanning nearly 30 years. He has contributed makeup and FX to many indie films, music videos and TV specials, most notably “Broken Lizard’s Club Dread”. He also wrote and directed the indie vampire feature film “Midnight Mass” which was released by Lions Gate Home Entertainment in 2003. His specialty props can be found in both Universal and Disney parks in Orlando as well as Universal Beijing. The live makeup demonstration Tony will be presenting is a recreation of the iconic character ‘Shuna Sassi’ from the 1990 Clive Barker horror/fantasy “Nightbreed”. The makeup will be a close to faithful adaptation of the 1990 original while utilizing updated techniques and materials.
